Choose the construction
Imported aluminium coil systems are often sold as an outdoor channel-letter shortcut. For exterior fabricated letters we specify EcoSteel. Welded aluminium still has a clear place for large, lightweight or structural work.
COLORBOND steel returns with trimless acrylic faces. Developed as an outdoor-rated alternative to imported aluminium coil, with a 5-year warranty pathway for trade supply.
Laser- or MIG-welded aluminium for lower weight, powder-coated finishes, large letters, frames and projects where structural span or installed mass matters.

Construction is project-specific. Artwork, stroke widths, depth, illumination, finish, viewing distance, mounting surface and site exposure all change the practical method. Outdoor and coastal work needs particular attention to material grade, drainage, sealing and dissimilar-metal contact.
If a US-style channel-letter drawing assumes aluminium coil outdoors, we will say so before production. Indoor hybrid coil and outdoor EcoSteel are not interchangeable.
