Stainless steel is the premium step up from EcoSteel for front-lit and halo-lit letters when the client wants a higher-end metal return finish. We typically fabricate in 304 stainless. Choose EcoSteel when outdoor durability at a sharper trade price is the priority.

Site conditions
Premium front-lit and halo-lit builds
Most stainless work we supply is illuminated letter fabrication—front-lit or halo-lit—where stainless returns give a cleaner, more premium daytime finish than EcoSteel. Non-illuminated stainless letters are available when the approved design calls for them. Finish is usually powder coated or 2K sprayed to brand colour; raw brushed or polished stainless is uncommon on the jobs we fabricate.

Build options
Illumination and construction options
Stainless returns are commonly paired with acrylic faces for front-lit letters, or built for halo lighting where the glow sits behind the letter. Spec the illumination style against the approved client visual before production.

Install planning
Mounting notes for trade installers
Important: include mounting holes in your artwork files. Stainless is hard to drill on site, so holes need to be marked up before production—we cut them in with the letters. Power entry is the same: show it as a hole in the artwork and we will cut it during fabrication. Mounting templates are included by default.

Timing
Lead time and freight
We can advise timing at the time of quoting. Painted and powder-coated finishes often take longer than basic EcoSteel work. Stainless sets are protected for interstate freight in wooden crates.
